Vancouver Island Pelagics

Embark on a journey to the North American continental shelf out of Tofino, a hotspot for pelagic birding. Pelagic trips offer you the opportunity to witness a diverse array of pelagic seabird species, including Black-footed Albatross, Sooty Shearwater, Short-tailed Shearwater, Pink-footed Shearwater, Buller's Shearwater (September), Northern Fulmar, and Fork-tailed Storm-Petrel. We will always be on the lookout for potential rarities such as Laysan Albatross, Short-tailed Albatross, Flesh-footed Shearwater and Parakeet Auklet (March).

Our pelagic trips are conducted on an open top Boston Whaler that holds a maximum of 12 passengers.
